COVID-19 daily update

Shenzhen reported 87 new locally transmitted confirmed cases and 141 new locally transmitted asymptomatic cases of COVID-19 yesterday.

Among the patients, 102 were found among people under centralized quarantine, 41 were found among people under home health monitoring, 13 were found among key groups of people under closed-loop management, 22 were found during screening in the city’s high-risk areas, six were found among close contacts of previous cases, 17 were found among key groups of people under non-closed-loop management, two were found by assisted cross-region investigations, four were found when the patients sought medical consultations, and 21 were found during community screening.

The city also reported seven imported confirmed cases and seven imported asymptomatic cases. They were put under closed-loop management upon arrival in the city and were later transferred to the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment. All of them are in stable condition.
