Shenzhen confirms 1 more COVID-19 case

On April 2, Shenzhen confirmed 1 more imported COVID-19 case. As of 24:00 of April 2, the city had confirmed a total of 452 cases.

Case 34 is a 35-year-old female of Chinese nationality returning to China from Russia after visiting her family there. She flew from Moscow to Guangzhou on flight SU220 on March 17, and entered the Chinese mainland via Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport on March 18. Her body temperature upon entry was 37.3 degrees Celsius when first measured with an infrared thermometer and 36.5 degrees Celsius when measured again with a mercury thermometer. She was later sent to a designated quarantine point in Shenzhen by a designated vehicle, and her nucleic acid test result released on the same day was negative. On March 31, she began to develop symptoms including discomfort in throat and occasional dry coughing. Her nucleic acid test released on April 1 was presumptive positive, and the reviewed result released by Shenzhen Center for Disease Control and Prevention was positive. She was confirmed of COVID-19 infection after a group consultation of medical experts on April 2.

The patient has been transferred to Shenzhen No. 3 People’s Hospital for treatment. The 1 person on the Chinese mainland who has been traced to have had close contact with the patient has been quarantined for medical observation.

Domestic cases

No new domestic case was confirmed on April 2. The number of domestic cases confirmed in the city remains at 418.

Imported cases

1 new imported case was confirmed on April 2, bringing the number of imported cases confirmed in the city to 34.

Asymptomatic cases

No new asymptomatic case was reported on April 2. Currently, 17 asymptomatic patients are under medical observation, among which 10 are from outside the Chinese mainland.

Of the confirmed cases, 221 are male and 231 are female.

So far, 419 patients have been discharged from hospital after recovery, and 3 deaths have been reported.

All the 30 patients are being treated at Shenzhen No. 3 People’s Hospital. 468 persons in close contact with the patients are under medical observation.

2020年4月3日深圳市新冠肺炎疫情情况

　　截至4月2日24时，深圳累计报告新冠肺炎病例452例。4月2日当天新增1例境外输入病例。

　　女，35岁，中国籍，从俄罗斯探亲回国。

　　3月17日从俄罗斯莫斯科乘坐SU220航班飞往中国广州。18日经广州白云机场入境，入境时红外线体温37.3℃，水银温度计复测体温36.5℃，后由专车送往深圳隔离，当天新冠病毒核酸检测阴性。31日患者出现咽喉不适，偶尔干咳。4月1日，新冠病毒核酸检测可疑阳性，当天深圳市疾控中心复核为阳性。2日经专家会诊，确诊为新冠肺炎。

　　目前患者已转到深圳市第三人民医院隔离治疗。初步判定，中国内地密接者1名，已集中隔离。

　　【境内病例】：当日无新增病例，累计报告境内病例418例。

　　【境外输入】：当日新增1例，累计报告境外输入病例34例。

　　【无症状感染者】：当日无新增，全市尚在医学观察的无症状感染者17例，其中境外输入10例。

　　累计报告确诊病例中，男性221例、女性231例。

　　目前，死亡3例，累计出院419例。30例确诊病例均在深圳市第三人民医院隔离治疗。

　　468名密切接触者正在接受医学观察。
