Shenzhen confirms 1 more imported COVID-19 case with total cases in the city rising to 444

Shenzhen confirmed 1 new imported COVID-19 case on March26, adding the number of imported cases in the city to 27, according to the latest figures released by the Health Commission of Shenzhen Municipality today.

Case 27 isa 20-year-old female of Chinese nationality studying in the United States whoreturned to China from the United States. She flew from New York to Hong Kong on flight CX845 on March 17, and then entered the Chinese mainland via Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint on March 18. Her body temperature upon entry was 36.2 degrees Celsius, and she showed no symptoms of COVID-19 infection. She was later sent to a designated quarantine point by a designated vehicle for collective observation. On March 24, she began to develop symptoms including fever, sore throat and runny nose, and in the next day she was sent to hospital by an ambulance. Preliminary nucleic acid test results released on March 25 and reviewed results released on March 26 were both positive.

The patient has been transferred to Shenzhen No. 3 People’s Hospital for treatment. Preliminary tracing results show that no person on the Chinese mainland has had close contact with the patient.

As of March26, Shenzhen has confirmed a total of 444 COVID-19 cases. One more patient was discharged from hospital the same day.Of the confirmed cases, 216 are male and 228 are female.

So far, 416 patients have been discharged from hospital, and 3 deaths have been reported.

All the 25 patients are being treated at Shenzhen No. 3 People's Hospital. 370 persons in close contact with the patients are under medical observation.

　　女，20岁，中国籍，美国留学生返回深圳。3月17日从美国纽约乘坐CX845航班飞往中国香港，18日抵达香港后经深圳湾口岸入境，入境体温36.2℃，无不适症状，随后专车送往集中隔离观察。24日患者出现发热、咽痛、轻微流鼻涕症状，25日由120救护车送医，当天新冠病毒核酸检测可疑阳性。26日新冠病毒核酸检测阳性，深圳市疾控中心复核亦为阳性。

　　目前患者已转到深圳市第三人民医院隔离治疗。初步判定，中国内地无密接者。

　　截至3月26日24时，深圳累计报告“新冠肺炎”病例444例。3月26日当天新增1例，出院1例。

　　累计报告确诊病例中，男性216例、女性228例。

　　目前，死亡3例，累计出院416例。

　　25例确诊病例均在深圳市第三人民医院隔离治疗。

　　370名密切接触者正在接受医学观察。
