Shenzhen confirms 3 more imported COVID-19 cases with total cases in the city rising to 439

Shenzhen confirmed 3 new imported COVID-19 cases on Mar. 21, adding the number of imported cases in the city to 22, according to the latest figures released by the Health Commission of Shenzhen Municipality today.

Case 20, a 23-year-old female of Chinese nationality, returned to China from the United Kingdom. She flew from London to Singapore on flight SQ321 on Mar. 16, then boarded flight SQ856 for Hong Kong on Mar. 18. She entered the Chinese mainland via Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint, and her body temperature upon entry was 36.5℃. She was later sent to a designated quarantine point by a designated vehicle for reporting her history of residence in the United Kingdom. On Mar. 19, she began to develop symptoms including diarrhea, fever and headache. Preliminary nucleic acid test results released on Mar. 20 and reviewed results released on Mar. 21 were both positive.

The patient has been transferred to Shenzhen No. 3 People’s Hospital for treatment. Preliminary tracing results show that no persons on the Chinese mainland have had close contact with the patient.

Case 21, a 25-year-old female of Chinese nationality, returned to China from Thailand. She flew from Bangkok to Guangzhou on flight TG668 on Mar. 19, and her body temperature upon entry to the Chinese mainland was 36.3℃. She was later sent to a designated quarantine point in Shenzhen by a designated vehicle for reporting her history of residence in Thailand. Preliminary nucleic acid test results released on Mar. 20 and reviewed results released on Mar. 21 were both positive.

The patient has been transferred to Shenzhen No. 3 People’s Hospital for treatment. The 4 persons on the Chinese mainland who have been traced to have had close contact with the patient have been quarantined for medical observation.

Case 22, a 19-year-old male of Chinese nationality, returned to China from Spain. He flew from Madrid to Hong Kong on flight CX320 on Mar. 10. He entered the Chinese mainland via Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint on Mar. 11, and his body temperature upon entry was 37.3℃. He was later sent to a designated quarantine point by a designated vehicle for reporting his history of residence in Spain. Preliminary nucleic acid test results released on Mar. 11 was positive, and CT imaging showed pneumonia in both his lower left lobes and lower right lobes. He underwent several nucleic acid tests in the following days, and was confirmed of infection on Mar. 21.

The patient has been transferred to Shenzhen No. 3 People’s Hospital for treatment. Preliminary tracing results show that no persons on the Chinese mainland have had close contact with the patient.

As of Mar. 21, Shenzhen has confirmed a total of 439 COVID-19 cases. Another 1 patient was discharged from hospital the same day. Of the confirmed cases, 212 are male and 227 are female.

Currently, 1 patient is in severe condition and 411 have been discharged from hospital. 3 deaths have been reported so far.

All 25 patients are being treated at Shenzhen No. 3 People's Hospital. 190 people in close contact with the patients are under medical observation.

　　女，23岁，中国籍，由英国返回。3月16日从英国伦敦乘坐SQ321航班飞往新加坡， 18日从新加坡乘坐SQ856航班飞往中国香港，抵达香港后从深圳湾口岸入境，入境时体温36.5℃，因申报有英国旅居史，入境后由专车送往隔离观察。19日患者开始出现腹泻、发烧、头痛等症状，20日新冠病毒核酸检测阳性，21日深圳市疾控中心复核亦为阳性。

　　目前患者已被转到深圳市第三人民医院隔离治疗。经初步判定，在中国内地无密切接触者。

　　病例21

　　女，25岁，中国籍，由泰国返回。3月19日从泰国曼谷乘坐TG668航班飞往中国广州，抵达广州后从白云机场入境，入境时体温36.3℃，因申报有泰国旅居史，入境后由专车送至深圳。20日凌晨抵达深圳后隔离观察，当天新冠病毒核酸初筛阳性。21日深圳市疾控中心复核亦为阳性。

　　目前患者已被转到深圳市第三人民医院隔离治疗。经初步判定，在中国内地有4密切接触者，已集中隔离。

　　病例22

　　男，19岁，中国籍，由西班牙返回。3月10日从西班牙马德里乘坐CX320航班飞往中国香港，11日抵达香港后从深圳湾口岸入境，入境时腋温37.3℃，因申报有西班牙旅居史，入境后由专车送往隔离观察，当天新冠病毒核酸初筛阳性，CT诊断结果为双下肺炎症。其后经深圳市疾控中心多次复核检测，21日检出新冠病毒核酸阳性。

　　目前患者已被转到深圳市第三人民医院隔离治疗。经初步判定，在中国内地无密切接触者。

　　截至3月21日24时，深圳累计报告“新冠肺炎”病例439例。3月21日当天新增3例，出院1例。

　　累计报告确诊病例中，男性212例、女性227例。

　　目前，重症1例，死亡3例，累计出院411例。

　　25例确诊病例均在深圳市第三人民医院隔离治疗。

　　190名密切接触者正在接受医学观察。
