Shenzhen confirms 5 more imported COVID-19 cases with total cases in the city rising to 432

Shenzhen confirmed 5 new imported COVID-19 cases on Mar. 19, adding the number of imported cases in the city to 15, according to the latest figures released by the Health Commission of Shenzhen Municipality today.

Case 11, a 36-year-old female of Chinese nationality, returned to China from France. On Mar. 14, she flew from Paris to Frankfurt, Germany on flight LH104, then boarded flight LH796 and arrived in Hong Kong on Mar. 15. She entered the Chinese mainland via Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint on Mar. 17, and her body temperature upon entry was 36.5℃. She was later quarantined for reporting her history of travel to France and showing symptoms including coughing and fatigue. Medics at the customs collected her throat swab. Preliminary nucleic acid test results released on Mar. 18 and reviewed results released on Mar. 19 were both positive.

The patient has been transferred to Shenzhen No. 3 People’s Hospital for treatment. Preliminary tracing results show that no persons on the Chinese mainland have had close contact with the patient.

Case 12, a 37-year-old male of French nationality, returned to China from France. He left Paris for Guangzhou on flight CZ348 on Mar. 16 and arrived on Mar. 17. His body temperature upon entry to the Chinese mainland was 36.4℃. He was then sent to a designated quarantine point by a designated car. On Mar. 18, he reported symptoms including headache and mild coughing. Medics collected his throat swab for nucleic acid test. Preliminary nucleic acid test results released on the same day and reviewed results released on Mar. 19 were both positive.

The patient has been transferred to Shenzhen No. 3 People’s Hospital for treatment. The 3 persons on the Chinese mainland who have been traced to have had close contact with the patient have all been quarantined for medical observation.

Case 13, a 19-year-old female of Chinese nationality, returned to China from the United States. On Mar. 16, she flew from Nashville to Chicago on flight AA3203, then boarded flight CX807 and arrived in Hong Kong. She entered the Chinese mainland via Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint on Mar. 17, and her body temperature upon entry was 36.4℃. She was then sent to a designated quarantine point by a designated car. Medics at the quarantine point collected her throat swab on Mar. 18. Preliminary nucleic acid test results and reviewed results released on Mar. 19 were both positive.

The patient has been transferred to Shenzhen No. 3 People’s Hospital for treatment. The 1 person on the Chinese mainland who has been traced to have had close contact with the patient has been quarantined for medical observation.

Case 14, a 23-year-old-female of Chinese nationality, returned to China from the United Kingdom. On Mar. 17, she flew from London to Dubai on flight EK006, then boarded EK380 and arrived in Hong Kong. She entered the Chinese mainland via Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint on Mar. 18, and her body temperature upon entry was 36.2℃. She was sent to a designated quarantine point by a designated car on Mar. 19. Medics at the quarantine point collected her throat swab. Preliminary nucleic acid test results and reviewed results released on the same day were both positive.

The patient has been transferred to Shenzhen No. 3 People’s Hospital for treatment. Preliminary tracing results show that no persons on the Chinese mainland have had close contact with the patient.

Case 15, a 20-year-old female of Chinese nationality, returned to China from the United Kingdom. On Mar. 17, she flew from London to Dubai on flight EK004, then boarded EK380 and arrived in Hong Kong. She entered the Chinese mainland via Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint on Mar. 18, and her body temperature upon entry was 37.5℃. She was then sent to Chunfeng Branch of Luohu District People’s Hospital by an ambulance. Medics there collected her throat swab on Mar. 19. Preliminary nucleic acid test results and reviewed results released on the same day were both positive.

The patient has been transferred to Shenzhen No. 3 People’s Hospital for treatment. Preliminary tracing results show that no persons on the Chinese mainland have had close contact with the patient.

As of Mar. 19, Shenzhen has confirmed a total of 432 COVID-19 cases. Another 2 patients were discharged from hospital the same day. Of the confirmed cases, 207 are male and 225 are female.

Currently, 1 patient is in critical condition, 1 in severe condition and 409 have been discharged from hospital. 3 deaths have been reported so far.

All 20 patients are being treated at Shenzhen No. 3 People's Hospital. 162 people in close contact with the patients are under medical observation.

　　女，36岁，中国籍，由法国返回。3月14日从法国巴黎乘坐LH104航班抵达德国法兰克福后，转乘LH796航班，于15日抵达中国香港。17日，患者经深圳湾口岸入境，入境体温36.5 ℃，因申报有法国旅居史，有咳嗽、乏力等症状，海关将其隔离观察并采集咽拭子。18日，新冠病毒核酸初筛阳性。19日2时，深圳市疾控中心完成复核，结果亦为阳性。

　　目前患者已被转到深圳市第三人民医院隔离治疗。经初步判定，在中国内地无密切接触者。

　　病例12

　　男，37岁，法国籍，由法国返回。3月16日从法国巴黎乘坐CZ348航班回国，17日抵达广州，入境体温36.4℃，入境后由专车送往隔离观察。18日患者自述有头痛、轻微咳嗽症状，随后采集咽拭子进行检测，结果为新冠病毒核酸初筛阳性。19日1时，深圳市疾控中心完成复核，结果亦为阳性。

　　目前患者已被转到深圳市第三人民医院隔离治疗。经初步判定，在中国内地有3名密切接触者，已集中隔离。

　　病例13

　　女，19岁，中国籍，由美国返回。3月16日从美国纳什维尔乘坐AA3203航班飞往芝加哥，随后乘坐CX807航班飞往中国香港。17日抵达香港后经深圳湾口岸入境，入境体温36.4℃，入境后由专车送往隔离观察，18日，隔离点驻点医生对其进行采样，19日，新冠病毒核酸初筛阳性。当天10时，深圳市疾控中心完成复核，结果亦为阳性。

　　目前患者已被转到深圳市第三人民医院隔离治疗。经初步判定，在中国内地有1名密切接触者，已集中隔离。

　　女，23岁，中国籍，由英国返回。3月17日从英国乘EK006航班飞往迪拜，转乘EK380飞往中国香港，18日抵达香港后经深圳湾口岸入境，入境体温36.2℃。19日由专车送往隔离观察，随后采集咽拭子进行检测，结果为新冠病毒核酸初筛阳性。19日20时，深圳市疾控中心完成复核，结果亦为阳性。

　　目前患者已被转到深圳市第三人民医院隔离治疗。经初步判定，在中国内地无密切接触者。

　　病例15

　　女，20岁，中国籍，由英国返回。3月17日从伦敦乘坐EK004航班前往阿联酋迪拜后，转乘EK380航班前往中国香港。18日抵达香港后经深圳湾口岸入境，入境体温37.5℃，后由120救护车转至罗湖区人民医院春风分院。19日，采集咽拭子进行检测，结果为新冠病毒核酸初筛阳性，17时深圳市疾控中心完成复核，结果亦为阳性。

　　目前患者已被转到深圳市第三人民医院隔离治疗。经初步判定，在中国内地无密切接触者。

　　截至3月19日24时，深圳累计报告“新冠肺炎”病例432例。3月19日当天新增5例，出院2例。累计报告确诊病例中，男性207例、女性225例。

　　目前，重症1例、危重症1例，死亡3例，累计出院409例。

　　20例确诊病例均在深圳市第三人民医院隔离治疗。162名密切接触者正在接受医学观察。
