Updates on COVID-19 cases in Shenzhen (April 30)

On April 29, Shenzhen confirmed no new COVID-19 case and reported no new asymptomatic case with 3 more patients discharged from hospital after recovery. As of midnight of April 29, the city had confirmed a total of 462 cases.

Domestic cases

No new domestic case was confirmed on April 29. The number of domestic cases confirmed in the city remains 423.

Imported cases

No new imported case was confirmed on April 29. The number of imported cases confirmed in the city remains 39.

Asymptomatic cases

No new asymptomatic case was reported on April 29.Currently, 9 asymptomatic patients are under medical observation, among which 4came from outside the Chinese mainland.

Of the confirmed cases, 229 are male and 233 are female.

So far, 454 patients have been discharged from hospital after recovery, and 3 deaths have been reported.

All of the 5 patients are being treated at the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen. 159 persons in close contact with the patients are under medical observation.

　　目前，死亡3例，累计出院454例。5例确诊病例均在深圳市第三人民医院隔离治疗。

　　159名密切接触者正在接受医学观察。
