City reports twoimported COVID-19 cases

On Dec. 17, Shenzhen reported two imported confirmed cases and two imported asymptomatic cases of COVID-19.

The two confirmed cases, bothfemales of Chinese nationality, came to Shenzhen from the United States. They were quarantined upon entry and were later sent to the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment. They were diagnosed as confirmed cases of COVID-19 (normal type) based on consultations by a panel of medical experts that factored in their epidemiological investigations, clinical symptoms and CT screening results. Currently, both patientsare in stable condition.

The two asymptomatic cases, a male and a female of Chinese nationality respectively, came to Shenzhen from the United States. They were quarantined upon entry and were later sent to the Emergency Campus of the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment. Currently, both patientsare in stable condition.

　　12月17日0-24时，深圳新增2例境外输入确诊病例和2例境外输入无症状感染者。

　　2例境外输入确诊病例均为女性，中国籍，从美国抵深。入境后即被集中隔离，后转至深圳市第三人民医院应急院区观察治疗，经临床专家会诊，结合流行病学调查、临床症状和CT检查结果，判定为新冠肺炎确诊病例（普通型），目前情况稳定。

　　此外，2例境外输入无症状感染者分别为1名男性和1名女性，中国籍，从美国抵深。入境后即被集中隔离，后转至深圳市第三人民医院应急院区观察治疗，情况稳定。
