Shenzhen reported seven new locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases and an asymptomatic patient yesterday.Futian and Luohu districts reported three and two COVID-19 cases, respectively, yesterday. They were detected during the routine screenings among key groups and in key areas. Due to the new infections, Shangsha and Xiasha communities, No. 28, 34, 38, 42, 46 and 50 of Futian Road South, Buildings 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 in Jindimingjin housing estate in Futian District, and Tower A of Huarui Building in Guiyuan Subdistrict, Luohu District, have been designated as control areas, where residents are not allowed to leave their residential compounds and avoid gatherings.Three other confirmed COVID cases were also reported in Bantian, Longgang District, yesterday. They were found among close contacts of the COVID patients reported in the subdistrict since Feb. 15.
