Shenzhen reported 28 new COVID cases yesterday, including five asymptomatic patients, figures from the Shenzhen health commission early this morning showed.
Twenty of yesterday's new infections were found among close contacts of previous COVID patients, while the other eight were detected in screenings in key areas and among key groups of people.
Building A of Huangfuyuan and Building 148 of Huanggang Shangweiyicun in Futian Subdistrict, Building 28 of Xinzhounancun housing estate, Fu’an Building, No. 5 of Lane 4, No. 8 and 11 of Lane 8, No. 2 of Lane 16 and No. 1 of Lane 21 in Shangshadongcun housing estate, Building 3 of Jinheyuan housing compound, Building 15 of Jinzhou Garden and No. 15 of Lane 8 in Shangsha Yeshucun estate in Shatou Subdistrict; Qiushi Building, Jiaoyu Keji Building, China Economic & Trade Building, and Building 4 of Yuezhong housing estate in Xiangmihu Subdistrict; Unit 1 of Building 5 of Tehaoyuan housing compound in Meilin Subdistrict, Zhongdian Information Building and Dangui Building of Huamaoxinyuan housing estate in Lianhua Subdistrict and the International Fintech Entrepreneurship Center in Fubao Subdistrict, Futian District have been locked down, according to the district’s COVID-19 prevention and control headquarters office today. Residents must stay indoors and door-to-door delivery service is provided.
New control areas have also been designated following the new infections. The area enclosed by Hongmian, Jinhua, Taohua and Ronghua roads in Fubao Subdistrict, Tehaoyuan housing estate, the area bounded by Zhulilin Seventh Road, Yihua Road, Zizhu Sixth Road, Zhuzilin Sixth Road, Zhuzilin Fifth Road and Zizhu Fourth Road, and the area enclosed by Hongli Road West, Shangbao East First Road, Shennan Boulevard and Jingtian East Road. People are not allowed to leave the control areas after entry, according to the tightened anti-epidemic measures.
Starting yesterday, residents in Unit A of Building 2 in Tongxinyuan housing estate on Luosha Road in Liantang Subdistrict, Luohu District, are prohibited to leave their homes as the building has been designated as a lockdown area. Tenants in Unit B of Building 2, which has been designated as a control area, cannot leave the compound. The other buildings of the housing estate has been desginated a prevention area, according to Louhu District COVID-19 prevention and control headquarters office today.
In Nanshan District, Building 1 of Huiyayuan housing compound in Shahe Subdistrict has been locked down since Friday, according to the district’s COVID-19 prevention and control headquarters office yesterday. Other buildings in the housing compound were designated as a control area, where residents must stay in the residential compound and gatherings are prohibited.
The district designated a prevention area starting and ending at Shennan Boulevard and is bounded by Shizhou Middle, Baishi, and Shahe East roads in Shahe. Gatherings are strictly limited in the prevention area with anti-COVID measures in place.
Longhua District also delimited several locations as lockdown, control and prevention areas Sunday in response to new COVID-19 infections, according to the district’s COVID-19 prevention and control headquarters office yesterday.
The lockdown areas include No. 13, Block A, Longshengxincun housing compound in Dalang Subdistrict, and 508, Laoyicun, No. 35, Guanlan Golf Boulevard, Guanlan Subdistrict.
The control area encompasses No. 12 and No. 14, Block A, Longshengxincun housing compound, while the prevention area covers all buildings excluding the lockdown and control areas in Block A, Longshengxincun housing compound.
Entertainment and leisure venues in Longhua’s prevention area were ordered to suspend operations. All personnel in the area must undergo nucleic acid tests twice within three days, and enter and exit the area with negative nucleic acid test results issued within 48 hours. All takeaways, parcels and deliveries are prohibited from entering housing compounds and urban villages in the prevention area.
