Daily COVID-19 update

Shenzhen reported 77 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, including 46 confirmed cases and 31 asymptomatic infections,  yesterday.

Forty-four of the new cases were found among centrally quarantined close contacts of COVID patients reported earlier in the city, another 26 were detected during screening in key areas and among key groups of people, while the other seven were found during citywide samplings in communities.

All of the new local patients have been transferred to the emergency wards of the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment. They are all in stable condition.
