Daily COVID-19 update

Shenzhen reported 66 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, including 49 confirmed cases and 17 asymptomatic infections, yesterday.

Thirty-seven of the new cases were found among centrally quarantined close contacts of COVID patients reported earlier in the city, another 28 were detected during screening in key areas and among key groups of people, while the other one was found during citywide samplings in communities.

All of the new local patients have been transferred to the emergency wards of the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment. They are all in stable condition
