COVID-19 daily update

　　On April 16, Shenzhen reported eight new locally transmitted cases of COVID-19, including six confirmed cases and two asymptomatic infections.

　　In addition, two imported confirmed cases and 17 imported asymptomatic infections were also reported. Both patients involved in the imported confirmed cases were from Hong Kong. Among the asymptomatic patients, three had traveled from the U.S., one from Canada, one from Indonesia, and 12 from Hong Kong.

　　All the imported cases were placed under closed-loop management upon arrival in Shenzhen and were later sent to the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment. Currently, they’re in stable condition.
